When choosing a place for summer vacation, there is always one leading and common thing? It’s your desire to escape the big cities and cool off from the summer heat. Bulgaria is a rich country and offers a choice in this regard. It can be done with a stay at the sea, in the mountains or at the pool.
Staying in Villa Topi, you have many options. The area around us is blessed with mineral springs and pools. Up to 30 km from the house you can choose between:
Aqua thermal baths, Krasnenski mineral baths (25 km – 40 minutes)
This is our favorite place to escape to nature. It is a complex with swimming pools in the village of Krasnovo. Everything you need to spend a relaxing day is here. For children there is a water slide and meadows for running. For the pampered, there is a pool with warm water, for comfortable water relaxation. And a place to recharge… Think of it as an oasis in the middle of nowhere.

Trakiets village, Zhitnitsa village (2 km – 5 minutes)
This is definitely your closest chance to cool off in a pool or pamper yourself in the relaxation area. If it is a weekend, we recommend that you first call to see if outside visitors are allowed, because if there is an event and their hotel is full, their guests understandably have priority. Around the pool you can spend a few pleasant hours enjoying carefreeness, nature and fresh air. Of course, you can eat her delicious food at the restaurant or treat yourself to draft beer or homemade lemonade by the pool.
Aqua Park, Plovdiv (20 km – 20 minutes)
If you are fond of water adventures and extreme experiences, Aqualand Plovdiv water complex is just for you. It is located only 1.5 hours from Sofia and 30 minutes from Villa Topi – in the city of Plovdiv. A wave pool? – Here you can experience it.
In addition, there are several more pools and more than 10 attractions. The water slides “Kamikaze”, “Centrifuge”, “Tsunami” and “Cosmic Hole” are just some of the water challenges. However, the most extreme slide is definitely King Cobra. For inspiration, you can take a look at the complex’s website.
To take advantage of the lower admission prices, plan a weekday visit with entry to the complex between 9.30-10.00am. That way you will have a whole day to get tired, rest and enjoy this water adventure again.
Hisarya (20 km – 20 minutes)
5 pools with healing water and different temperatures! Hisarya – the old classic! If you stay with us for a few days, you can allow yourself to spend a full and peaceful day, close to nature.
We recommend a visit to the City Mineral Beach in the city of Hisarya. The complex has a large green area where you can use the natural shade of the trees to cool off and relax if you are not a fan of pools.
For the rest of the company, there are 5 pools with healing water, of different temperatures and sizes. There is a large Olympic-sized pool, a sports pool – cooled to 26° C, a children’s pool with a slide, and one each for men only and beach only.
There are a few more places with warm mineral pools in Hisarya that are definitely worth checking out: Hisar Hotel, Augusta Hotel and Di aqua complex. After such daytime entertainment during the hot summer months, enjoy a quiet evening on the patio. With a nice cold drink in hand and sharing the emotions of the day.
Banya city (30 km – 30 minutes)
We cannot miss the City Mineral Beach in the city of Banya, Karlovsko. The central mineral beach is located 30 km and 30 minutes by car from Villa Topi. It has 2 large pools and a children’s pool with slides. Lovers of mineral water with a higher temperature can check the opening hours of the Tsarska Banya hotel pool. The temperature of the main pool is above 30 degrees, and of the mini-pool 42 degrees. After such a hot and exhausting day, the cool evening at Villa Topi will be a balm for your soul and senses!
Starosel (20 km – 30 minutes)
Of course, it is also worth stopping by the Starosel complex. In addition to the pool, you can take advantage of wine massages, wine tasting. And of course, don’t forget to stock up on a nice rosé to unwind in the evening in the garden or the house.
