Dynamic everyday life, curious and searching people are often found in the internet space nowadays. And with our soulmates, it so happens that we meet in person later on. I had the pleasure of meeting Ilianka in person as well, while we were visiting the shops in Sofia for materials. It was magical and memorable. They even thought we were sisters… More or less we recognize each other. She and I both love Bulgarian food, we escaped to the countryside and can enjoy it every day. We notice how the leaves on the trees change, how each bud turns into a flower. And at the same time we are also creative souls.
Ilianka is a master of embroidery and sewing machine. See for yourself on her Facebook page “Ida’s Studio – Patches with Love”. She can create amazing beauties out of fabric, such as patchwork blankets, pillows, bags, book cases, coasters and anything you can think of. Or you don’t think of it! That’s how I saw the neat little bags for herbs, with an inscription in Bulgarian, that Iliana had posted in a group. It was love at first sight.
How to store dried herbs for tea?
I had just collected for the first year from the herbs in the yard. I dried them as advised. I had started looking for special jars in which to store them. And just then I saw Ilianka’s bags. I immediately contacted her and ordered her with inscriptions about the herbs we look at in the garden for the tea potions during the winter period. Amazing candy and effervescent bags have arrived. They are definitely the cherry on top of our kitchen. There is no person who has not approached to look at them and enjoy them.
And let us whisper to you again that everything in the house is at your disposal. You can mix yourself a gorgeous aromatic herbal tea mix. Our favorite combination is mint with chamomile in equal proportion.
Serving mats
The use of coasters when serving creates a feeling of home comfort. There are many and varied ones in the house, but as soon as I saw the autumn leaves, I immediately wrote – I want them. Did you see that the autumn crocuses are in bloom? When it’s time to enjoy the caressing October sun, then it’s time for them to be an integral part of my everyday life. Where I went with the cup of coffee, there are also the mats of leaves.
Every detail matters.
It definitely makes a big difference whether you just put your glass on the table or serve it on a special coaster.
